Freight and Delivery

Local delivery fees are calculated and charged before the final invoice is sent. Long-distance delivery fees must be determined by quote and paid in full, in advance, without exception. Any information not disclosed at the time of delivery estimate, including partial shipments (if required), will be billed separately.

Skylar Morgan Furniture is not responsible for appropriate delivery access at any client site and will give no refunds if access is denied.

Installation

Client is responsible for ensuring that all elevators, stairwells, corridors, and doorways will permit normal delivery. Client is also responsible for the site preparation – blocking for walls, ceiling, and flooring. Skylar Morgan is not responsible for any additional removal or transportation of any items other than pieces created by Skylar Morgan. Delivery and storage fees will be charged if the site is unprepared for delivery and if any product must be returned to the studio.

Any additional work or circumstances not disclosed prior to installation will incur additional charges and be billed separately.

Storage

Paid pieces not collected and/or any orders that encounter a timeframe change of 14 or more days from the original, agreed-upon installation or delivery date are subject to a $40 per sq. ft. charge per month.

Returns and Exchanges

All projects are made to order and are not subject to cancellation. For this reason, returns and exchanges are not accepted for any reason other than shipping damage. Damage claims must be reported within 24 hours of package arrival. Please inspect your purchases immediately upon receipt, as no claims can be made after 24 hours. Damaged items may be exchanged after claims have been processed.

Intellectual Property Rights

All information concerning Skylar Morgan Furniture, including photos, sales materials or product design is subject to trademark, copyright, and other intellectual property rights held by Skylar Morgan Furniture. The client may not copy, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, transmit, transfer, reprint, post on the internet or create derivative works from such information. The client will be responsible for any legal fees associated with issues arising from copyright infringements, which are not associated with a direct retail sale.

Product Warranty:

Skylar Morgan Furniture warrants against any structural cracks or defects in the material for 90 days. Small checks and cracks are normal as a piece acclimates to its environment, and reflects the beauty and honesty of the materials we use. Any defects must be reported within the 90 day day period. Issues arising after the warranty period will be on a case by case basis. Any pieces needing review will need to be delivered to address below, and schedule an appointment with our studio. Upon review, Skylar Morgan Furniture will be in touch regarding any needed repairs and estimated labor costs.

Skylar Morgan Furniture does not cover damage caused by others or beyond the control of Skylar Morgan Furniture, including but not limited to damage by misuse, abuse, accident, neglect, alteration, mishandling, improper installation, improper storage, failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance, or to goods that are altered or modified. This warranty does not apply to products installed in areas with exposure to extreme humidity or extreme temperature fluctuations. This warranty does not apply to the mellowing and aging of wood products, variation in the wood grain or color, fading, or visible cracking around joint areas, particularly finish cracks related to solid color finishes.
