Is your studio by appointment only?

Yes. Please contact us to set up an appointment to discuss a project or piece of furniture. Our studio hours are Monday through Friday, 9-5pm.

How do I make an appointment?

How do I submit a project for an estimate or more information?

Please send any specs and project details to us at info@skylarmorganfurniture.com.

How do I initiate an order?

Orders are processed upon receipt of all the following:

  • A 50%, nonrefundable deposit 
  • All approvals including drawings, samples, finishes and related materials
  • A signed copy of the Production Policies 

What are your typical project lead-times?

Project lead-time is based on the date on which all drawings and finishes have been approved. Please note that we do on occasion quote extended lead-times due to heavy volume. Expedited shipping or orders placed with a “rush” are granted on a case-by-case basis and are subject to additional fees.

What samples + finishes are available?

We offer a wide range of tried-and-true specialty finishes. Make an appointment to stop by our studio to review our collection. We are also happy to advise which finishes work best for your project.

Custom samples, including specialty and/or larger scale mockups, are available and will be charged accordingly.

What is to be expected with a natural wood product?

Wood is a natural, living material. For this reason, grain characteristics and color can vary from piece to piece. Checks and cracks are normal and reflect the beauty and honesty of a handmade solid wood product. 

Can you match a specified color or stain?

While we will do our best to match colors, color matching is never 100% accurate due to outside factors. Slight differences are to be expected. Depending on orientation of the grain, the type of wood and its moisture content, color variation will occur throughout the material.

May I specify my own hardware?

Of course! All hardware requirements should be conveyed to Skylar Morgan Furniture + Design at the beginning stages of the project.

Installation:

Client is responsible for ensuring that all elevators, stairwells, corridors and doorways will permit normal delivery. Client is also responsible for the site preparation for any work that must be installed or mounted into walls, floors or ceilings. 

Delivery and storage fees will be charged if the site is unprepared for delivery and if any product must be returned to the studio.

Returns and Exchanges:

All projects are made to order and are not subject to cancellation. For this reason, returns and exchanges are not accepted for any reason other than shipping damage. Damage claims must be reported within 24 hours of package arrival. Please inspect your purchases immediately upon receipt, as no claims can be made after 24 hours. Damaged items may be exchanged after claims have been processed.

Intellectual Property Rights:

All information concerning products, including photos, sales materials or product design is subject to trademark, copyright and other intellectual property rights held by Skylar Morgan Furniture + Design. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, transmit, transfer, reprint, post on the Internet or create derivative works from such information.
